Meta Ads for Audiologists and Hearing Clinics
People put off hearing tests, sometimes for years, which is exactly when search ads can't reach them. Meta can put your clinic in front of people who haven't started searching, and we would test creative written for the family member nudging them, as long as no ad implies anyone has a hearing problem.

Bilal and his team at DMT have delivered an exceptional experience that has significantly boosted my business. They crafted and implemented excellent and insightful marketing strategies that yielded measurable results. If your business is struggling and needs a marketing boost, DMT is the right choice.
The team at Digital Marketing Tribe are extremely knowledgeable about all things SEO. I cannot recommend them more highly. They were extremely honest, helpful and straight to the point.
Google catches people ready to act. Meta's job here is earlier: making a local audiologist feel familiar and approachable, so that when someone finally agrees to get checked, your name is the one they remember. We don't currently have an audiology client. This is the plan we would run, based on the research below.
The family angle is what we would test first. It isn't a guarantee, and we would want to measure it, but a daughter who sees a friendly video from a local clinic may well pass it on to her dad.
What to watch for
Hearing aids are included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as medical devices, so the TGA's Advertising Code applies when they're promoted to the public. That rules out phrases like "TGA approved", and consumer law covers any price claim. "$0 hearing aids" needs its eligibility and inclusions spelled out. Meta's health classification can also limit lower-funnel event tracking, so we would check Events Manager, keep event names neutral and compare results against your own bookings.
How we would run Meta for a hearing clinic
Careful wording and a local radius, and we would measure what the phones do.
Copy aimed at the topic, not the person
"Struggling to hear?" implies a health condition and risks rejection. "When did you last get your hearing checked?" also needs care. "What happens at a hearing test" and "Meet your local audiologist" are safer.
Video that answers the fear
Short, captioned clips showing the booth, the audiologist and a typical appointment. Captions matter here more than almost anywhere else.
Funding explainers
A short piece on who qualifies for the Hearing Services Program, using its published criteria, is useful if it's worded so it doesn't imply the viewer is a pensioner.
All-visitor remarketing
Past site visitors are the warmest group. We don't segment them by condition, and we would use one audience to keep it deliverable.
A follow-up path for leads
Lead forms only work if someone calls back quickly. We agree a follow-up process with your front desk first, including how to handle a family member enquiring for someone else.
AI enhancements off
Automated creative could easily add a claim you never approved, and Meta's terms make you responsible for it. We keep these features off unless you approve them in writing.
What our orthodontic campaigns suggest for a hearing clinic
From DMT's Meta campaigns for Transform Orthodontic Care, November 2023 to November 2025. A different field, so read these as lessons, not forecasts.
An offer worked on a warm audience
Two remarketing lead campaigns around Chinese New Year 2024, $250 each, brought in 28 leads at $16.67 and $19.23. That's a small sample, with no booking data behind it.
One Reel built reach, not clicks
A health insurance Reel reached 49,970 accounts and earned a single link click. Good for familiarity, not for bookings, and we would report it honestly as that.
One seasonal campaign drew cheap visits
A Christmas campaign delivered 1,516 landing page views at $0.82 each. For hearing, the holidays could be worth testing, but one campaign doesn't prove the timing.
Keyword and ranking figures: Semrush Australian database, checked 6 November 2026. Volumes, difficulty scores and click prices are Semrush estimates, and click prices are shown in US dollars. Rankings are a national snapshot, so local results will differ. Voucher rules: Department of Health, checked 6 November 2026. Device advertising: TGA.
Audiology Meta Ads, answered
Are our patients even on Facebook?
We wouldn't assume, so we would look at reach and results in your own area during a small test. Remember that the family member may be the one you're reaching.
Can we target people over 65?
Not reliably. Meta's audience controls offer only limited age limits, and most targeting inputs act as suggestions. The people influencing the decision may be younger anyway, so we would check the current options in Ads Manager and test.
Should we run Meta before Google?
Usually no. Local SEO and Google capture people ready to book, so Meta works best once there's a landing page and booking process worth sending people to. Osteopaths have a different starting point, since many people first need to learn what they do.
