Workplace Rehab Google Ads · Australia

Google Ads for Workplace Rehabilitation Providers

This is a small, expensive auction. "Workplace assessment" has about 140 searches a month at around US$7.53 a click, and "ergonomic assessment" 590 at about US$6.18. Volume won't save a loose account here. But if one enquiry can become an ongoing employer relationship, a few good clicks can pay for themselves.

DMT has had a massive impact to our business. I have to admit I was sceptical because we had been burnt before with other marketing companies. Ivan and the team helped grow customers and followers rapidly over a 3 month period. 3,700 extra FB followers and more than 2,500 chatbot subscribers, which equates to about 12,000 newsletter subscribers. Easily doubled our sales in 3 months. Highly recommended.

My businesses Ayers House Events and Henry's Table have been using DMT for over a year now with fantastic results. Whether it is Facebook, Insta or creating general content such as photos and even websites, I can highly recommend this Tribe.

We engaged Digital Marketing Tribe for both Google Ads and SEO services, and the results have exceeded our expectations. Their expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail have significantly improved our online visibility. What sets them apart is their clear communication, transparency, and genuine commitment to helping their clients succeed. They take the time to understand the business, provide regular updates and explain complex, up to date digital marketing concepts.

Consumer health campaigns chase volume. This one shouldn't. We would keep a provider's account small enough to review by hand, with every search term looked at, every state set deliberately and every enquiry checked for whether it came from a real employer. We don't currently have a client in this sector. This is the plan we would run, based on the research below.

It also means being honest about scale. Some terms have few searches, and national figures shrink quickly once you narrow to your approved jurisdictions. If there isn't enough demand in your area, we will show you the numbers rather than running a campaign that can't succeed.

From The Data

What the rehab provider auction looks like

Semrush estimates for Australian searches. Competition runs from 0 to 1.

Business terms are pricey

"Workplace assessment" (US$7.53), "ergonomic assessment" (US$6.18) and "injury management" (US$6.08) rank with the most expensive clicks we saw across this research.

Competition is low anyway

Those same terms show competition of just 0.13, 0.22 and 0.12. Few advertisers are bidding, so a well-organised account could stand out.

Volume sits in assessments

"Functional capacity evaluation" has 1,300 searches at about US$3.19, and "pre employment medical" 1,300 at about US$1.98. These are the likeliest places to find enough data.

The category term is tiny

"Workplace rehabilitation provider" has 140 searches at about US$3.62, and its plural 70. Worth covering, not worth building a plan around.

How We Run It

How we would build a rehab provider account

Each decision is about keeping out the people you can't help.

Campaigns by service line

Assessments, injury management and training each get their own ads and landing pages.

Locations set to where you can deliver

Ads show only where you can actually deliver the service. Multi-state providers get a campaign per state, with its authority named on the page.

Negatives for the wrong searcher

Workers' compensation lawyers, claim forms, jobs, courses and people looking for their own regulator's phone number are all likely to appear. We would review search terms at least weekly at first.

Forms that qualify

Company name, role, location and service needed. Some friction is useful when each click can cost this much.

Offline tracking

We would import outcomes where your CRM allows it, so a lead that became an account counts for more than one that went nowhere.

Business-hours scheduling

Decision-makers mostly search during work hours. We would check your own data before setting a schedule, as some urgent searches won't fit the pattern.

What It Costs

What rehab provider Google Ads costs

DMT's Google Ads management starts from $1,000 a month plus GST, and we recommend at least $2,000 a month in Search spend. Ad spend goes directly to Google and is never marked up. The $1,000 tier covers one campaign. A multi-campaign build like the one above starts from $1,500 plus GST, and new landing pages are quoted separately. At these click prices, that minimum may buy about 200 clicks, so the sums depend on what a new employer account is worth to you. We would work that figure out with you first, because it sets what a qualified enquiry can afford to cost. Our Google Ads cost guide has more background.

Compliance

What your ads can claim

Most jurisdictions approve providers against a nationally consistent framework endorsed by the Heads of Workers' Compensation Authorities. Queensland sets no legislative minimum, and terms differ. Ads shouldn't suggest approval you don't hold, and consumer law applies to every claim. Where you're promoting services delivered by Ahpra-registered practitioners, its advertising rules may apply as well, so we would flag those lines for you to check.

Common Questions

Rehab provider Google Ads, answered

Should we bid on insurer or regulator names?

Usually not. People searching those names generally want that organisation, and it can look like you're implying a relationship you may not have. Your own services and brand are a better starting point.

How do you tell a good enquiry from a bad one?

We would agree a definition with you, such as a company in your approved area enquiring about a service you offer. Job seekers and individual claim questions wouldn't count, even if Google records them as conversions.

Is this different from healthcare advertising?

Quite different. Podiatry ads look for a person with a sore foot this week. Yours look for an organisation with a need, so the qualifying and follow-up matter far more.
